STEP 19 - CREATING A ROUTINE

Now that we have had all this science, shall we get into the experience of using Essential Oils for sleep? Part of healthy sleep hygiene is preparing yourself for rest. Having a comfortable and repeatable process can help prepare not only your mind, but your body as well. Maybe you like to read, listen to music, or watch your favorite shows on TV. Whatever you enjoy should not be stressful and let your body relax.

One great way to unwind is to take a warm bath. Including Essential Oils in your bath routine can relax your mind and body.

ESSENTIAL OILS BATH

• Run a warm bath.

• Add 1–3 drops of a ICE BLUE Essential Oil.

• Mix with water.

• Soak in the tub for 15 minutes

Some recommended Essential Oils are: Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Jasmine, Restful Blend.

Another great way to add Essential Oils to your bath is with the use of bath salts. There are many different recipes for bath salts. Use soothing, calming, grounding oils. Add 10 drops and 1/4 cup Epsom salts or Therapeutic Bath Salts. You can always use these oils individually or in an array of combinations.

Some great combinations include:

• 5 drops Geranium and 5 drops Lavender.

• 5 drops Roman Chamomile and 5 drops Lavender.

• 4 drops Cedarwood and 4 drops Lavender.

• 4 drops Roman Chamomile, 3 drops Lavender, and 2 drops Cedarwood.
